Chestnut Farms is Powered by the Sun

In 2015, Chestnut Farms invested over $200,000 in the Harvard Solar Gardens to ensure that all of our farming electrical needs are met by renewable energy. Today, the electricity to power the cooling to run our freezers, the refers on our trucks as well as the energy for our lights and fences come from the sun. Joining the community solar gardens is simply another step in connecting communities to agriculture and being good stewards of the land.
